Our Treatment Method
Small therapy groups allow therapists to address individual issues, educate with the most up to date substance abuse knowledge, and focus on faulty thought processes that eventually could lead to relapse. Group therapy is not a support group such as a 12 step group. Although the group is a supportive environment, focus of a therapy group is to implement and aid in change. Group dynamics assist therapists to view clients and their difficulties in functioning in the greater society. Feedback from others in the group provides clients with multiple options for change and ideas for living a clean and sober life.
